Hey Guys! For those of you who do not know who I am, my name is James Wyatt and I have my first degree black belt in goju ryu karate-do. I have been training since I was eleven years old and I never intend to stop! I hope to one day open my own martial arts studio here in Cambridge, but first I need to explore.
In a couple of months me and three others from my dojo will be attending a kata and kobudo tournament in Okinawa, Japan. We've been personally invited to attend, which is not a common invitation! When we arrive, we will be given instruction by well respected teachers in various styles of martial arts, time to see the beautiful sights, as well as participating in the kata/kobudo tournament.
This is a once in a lifetime experience, which none of us want to pass up. But it has been a challenge to raise the money to attend.
