Four months ago, I took a thirteen hour flight to the land of the rising sun for a taste of what Japan had to offer. The moment we landed, a huge smile spread across my face as I knew we were now in the country I had been longing to see.
As if I knew what to expect, the country threw even more at me. It gave me what I wanted and more. I can understand why most people would and will not leave the seductive country and I am envious of those who are able to live there even for a year.
However, I h
ave been given the opportunity to go once more within six months of my last adventure. My Dojo has been invited to attend a kata and kobudo tournament as well as a training seminar with well respected Sensei's of other styles. But it has been and still is a difficult challenge funding such an event but thanks to many friends and family, they have pushed me another step forward to getting me there.I want to thank every one of them for the donations they have made. It means a lot to me to know that I have their support. This also goes out to anyone who may still assist in the financial need for the journey.
Thank you, James Wyatt
